Finding Products Searching for products

There are three routes to finding products for sale through Complete Party Supplies.

To shop by theme, from the Home page, select an appropriate category from the list on the left, for example "Baby Shower" or "Girls' Birthday". Then select a theme from those available in this category. Once you're on the page for your chosen theme, you will have the option to select either a Complete Party Package, or use the Party Builder to build your own package.

To shop specifically for favors or decorations, select the "Favors & Extras" category from the list on the left of the Home page. Then select from the available categories, for example "Boys' Birthday Favors" or "Baby Shower Decorations & Extras", to view a list of relevant products.

To search for items by keyword, enter relevant words or phrases, for example "pink", "yellow balloon", or "Spiderman" into the Keyword Search box on the top right of every page. When you press Enter or click the Search button to the right of the Keyword Search box, any relevant themes or products will be displayed. The Keyword Search tool is not case sensitive.



Complete Party Packages

Complete Party Packages are convenient packages containing all the supplies you need for your chosen party theme, and offering excellent value for money. Essentials Party Packages contain tableware, basic decorations and extras, and Ultimate Party Packages also include favors and additional decorations. Complete Party Packages include a further 5% discount off the price of buying the items individually. Select between 8 and 48 guests from the drop-down to view the quantities of each product included in the packages, and the price.



Party Builder

If you would prefer to select the items and quantities you need yourself, the Party Builder takes you through the process in four simple steps. Select products from the Tableware tab, then click "Continue to Step 2" or select the second tab to proceed to Decorations, then Favors, and finally Extras, adding items to your Shopping Cart as you go.



Further product information

You can add products to your Shopping Cart by updating the Quantity field and clicking "Add to Cart". If you require further information first, simply click on the product image or product name, to view further information and an enlarged image.



Unable to find a product or theme

If you are unable to find what you're looking for, please Contact Us and we will make every effort to help you. Even if we don't currently stock your chosen theme or item, we're continually adding to our product range, and always appreciate suggestions from customers.

Placing Orders
Placing an order online

Once you've added all your items to your Shopping Cart, click "View Cart" or "Checkout" at the top right of the page. You will see a summary of the items in your Shopping Cart, and can at this point review and amend quantities if necessary. As you proceed through the pages, you'll be required to enter your billing information and shipping address if different, select from the available shipping options and then enter your credit or debit card details.

Your safe and secure shopping experience is our top priority; we use Secure Socket Layer (SSL) software, which encrypts the information you input during transmission to us, and we do not store your credit or debit card details thereafter.

You will receive an email confirming your order, and once your order has been processed and shipped (the following business day), you will receive a second email detailing how you can track your package through FedEx.



Placing an order by telephone, email, fax or mail

We have chosen not to have a call center to handle phone orders and customer queries to keep our costs as low as possible, enabling us to pass on the savings to our customers through our extremely competitive prices. We therefore only accept online orders at this time.

Large orders

If you are a business, party planner, or simply looking to purchase a large quantity of products, we invite you to take advantage of our competitive bulk order price and shipping discounts. Product is out of stock

Our online store features real-time stock information, therefore if a product is visible and can be added to your Shopping Cart, it should be available. In the unlikely event that a product you order is out of stock, we will attempt to contact you for instructions before shipping your package.

If we are unable to contact you prior to shipping your package, we will omit the out of stock item from your package and refund the value of the item to your card. In this instance, we will include a notice in your package informing you of the missing item.



Changing an order

Once you have submitted your order, we cannot guarantee that we will be able to amend it, however we recommend that you Contact Us immediately. Please ensure that the subject line of the email reads "CHANGE MY ORDER", and that you include your full name, order number and details of the best way for us to contact you during business hours.



Cancelling an order

Once you have submitted your order, we cannot guarantee that we will be able to cancel it, however we recommend that you Contact Us immediately. Order confirmation email not received

When you place an order, you will automatically be sent an email confirming your Order Number and the details of your order. If you have not received your Order Confirmation Email within one hour of placing your order, please check your Spam or Junk Mail folder in case it's been filtered there rather than arriving in your Inbox.

If you still have not received it we recommend that you Contact Us so that we can check that we have received your order, and that we have your correct email address registered. Please include your full name, order number and details of the best way for us to contact you during business hours.



Tracking orders and shipments

When you place an order, you will receive an email confirming your Order Number and details of your order. Once your order has been processed and shipped (the following business day), you will be notified of your FedEx Tracking Number by email.

Accepted payment methods

Declined payments

Your safe and secure shopping experience is our top priority. In order for credit or debit card payments to be authorized, all information entered at the Checkout must match the details held by your credit or debit card provider, including the billing address, CCV number and name on the card.

If you are sure that this information has been entered accurately and your card is valid, but you are receiving notification that your payment has not been accepted, we recommend that you try using a different card or contact your card provider.



Product pricing

We pride ourselves on offering our customers great value for money, and wherever possible aim to set the Retail Price (RP) lower than the Manufacturer Suggested Retail Price (MSRP). The RP (displayed under each product in blue), represents the full retail price charged by Complete Party Supplies for the product. For Complete Party Package products, the RP for the package includes a further 5% discount from the total of the RPs of the individual items contained within the package.

Despite our best efforts, a small number of the items on our website may be mispriced. If an item's correct RP is higher than our stated RP, we will contact you for instructions before shipping.



Sales Tax

Complete Party Supplies is required by law to charge state and local state tax for orders shipped to the state where we conduct business, this being California (8.5% Sales Tax). For online and phone orders with a shipping destination of CA, sales tax will be calculated in the final stage of the Checkout, prior to entering your payment details.



Security of information

We have security measures in place to protect you from the loss, misuse and alteration of the information under our control, including the use of third party security monitoring services. FREE Shipping Special

Spend $65.00 or more on products today and receive FREE FedEx Ground Service shipping to Continental US addresses.

To qualify, your order subtotal must be $65.00 or more. Order subtotal refers to the total spend on products, after coupons or discounts have been applied, but before tax and shipping charges have been added. You can check your running order subtotal at any time by clicking the View Cart link at the top right of the page.

This offer is not applicable to orders where FedEx Second Day Service or Next Day Service shipping options are selected. This offer is available from June 25th 2009 for a limited time period. Orders placed prior to June 25th 2009, and those that do not meet the requirements of a minimum $65.00 order subtotal and FedEx Ground Service shipping selection, do not qualify for this special.

Shipping destinations

We ship to the Continental USA, using FedEx as our carrier. At this time we are unable to accept orders for shipping destinations in Alaska, Hawaii or Puerto Rico. All shipments originate from California, and time in transit varies by destination and selected shipping option.

Orders are processed and shipped the following business day; please note that the processing day is not counted as one of the business days in transit and so should be allowed for in addition to the shipping time.



Shipping options

We offer three different shipping options; before you complete your order you will be required to select your preference. Orders are processed and shipped the following business day; please note that the processing day is not counted as one of the business days in transit and so should be allowed for in addition to the shipping times detailed below:

Ground Service: delivery within 1 to 5 business days, based on distance to your destination. FREE for orders of $65 or more. Terms and conditions apply.

Second Day Service: delivery within 1 to 2 business days, usually by 4.30 pm to business addresses and 7.00 pm to residential addresses.

Next Day Service: delivery the next business day, usually by 3.00 pm.



Expected delivery dates

Orders are processed and shipped the following business day; please note that the processing day is not counted as one of the business days in transit; therefore your order should be in your hands within 2 to 6 business days for Ground Service orders, within 3 business days for Second Day Service shipments, and within 2 business days for Next Day Service shipments.

Business days are Monday to Friday, excluding holidays.



Shipping costs

Shipping charges are based on the total value of your order, and your chosen delivery option. When calculating shipping times, remember not to count weekends, holidays or the order processing day (1 business day after the day on which you place your order).

Risk of loss

Returning unwanted items

All items can be returned within 30 days of your receipt of the shipment, with a completed Returns Form. To open and view this PDF file, you will need Adobe Reader.

In order to qualify for a refund, returned items must be unopened and in their original packaging, unused, and appropriately packaged to ensure that they are not damaged in transit. If you refuse your package upon delivery, standard FedEx return shipping rates will be deducted from the value of your refund.

Refunds will be credited to the original form of payment. Please note that shipping charges are not reimbursable; where orders qualified for free shipping, the cost to Complete Party Supplies of outbound shipping will be deducted from the value of the refund. If you are receiving a credit card refund, please allow up to two billing cycles for your credit to appear.
